Reviews and Ratings
I had quite a mix of experiences at the Ethnica Old City Hotel. On one hand, the location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore many sights in a short walk. The staff was very eager to help, especially Seyit bey, who went out of his way to assist us. However, the room we stayed in felt quite neglected, with maintenance issues that detracted from our stay. Overall, it's a place with great potential but needs attention to its facilities.
The hotel has a great location, just a minute from the Sirkeci/Marmaray stations, and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but very clean; however, street noise can be quite bothersome since the windows aren't soundproof. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially considering the good service and breakfast options, but the noise might be a downside for some.
I had a joyful week at Ethnica Old City Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Istanbul, as many attractions were just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but on the smaller side if you're traveling with multiple people. The staff were very eager to assist and made my stay enjoyable, although the dining options could be better as ordering from the menu was a bit pricey. Overall, it was a great experience but had a few minor downsides.
I recently stayed at Ethnica Old City Hotel for a week, and I must say, the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Istanbul. The room was spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities, which was great considering the reasonable price. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making our stay even better. However, I did find the dining options a bit limited, particularly at breakfast, and the air conditioning could use some improvement. Overall, a solid experience with significant pros and a few cons.
I had a lovely stay at Ethnica Old City Hotel with its quirky charm and excellent location near Sirkeci station, which made exploring Istanbul a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed a fantastic night's sleep. While the breakfast was delicious, the street noise was a bit disruptive at times. Overall, it's a great spot for anyone looking to dive into the local culture and sights.
