Ethnica Hotel Old City, Istanbul

I had quite a mix of experiences at the Ethnica Old City Hotel. On one hand, the location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore many sights in a short walk. The staff was very eager to help, especially Seyit bey, who went out of his way to assist us. However, the room we stayed in felt quite neglected, with maintenance issues that detracted from our stay. Overall, it's a place with great potential but needs attention to its facilities.

The hotel has a great location, just a minute from the Sirkeci/Marmaray stations, and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but very clean; however, street noise can be quite bothersome since the windows aren't soundproof. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially considering the good service and breakfast options, but the noise might be a downside for some.
